I fell in love right there... as soon as I took that first picture of Carrie's little Lily snugly wrapped in a soft cream gauze. From her sweet little face peeking out of the gauze at the top to the soft impression of her tiny toes pressed against the material at the bottom. In my eyes, it was a perfect combination. That was nearly two years ago. Since then, I have evolved my wraps to include two babies and also tried out different wrapping materials and techniques! I have always loved the look of a swaddled newborn, so cozy in the blanket, but I always found blankets to be too bulky, distracting the viewer from the true subject of the picture. After wrapping many babies, there are several techniques and materials that I have found to work best when wrapping the little ones. Check back on the blog soon for some exciting news :)

These are stunning. I am also interested in the specific wrapping materials. I have cheese cloth at home but it doesn't have the texture like these do. Would love it if you mentioned what these wraps are either in the book (cause you know I'm going to buy it) or now (which is even better because I just can't wait till the book prints) Thanks.
